Vale Cadra Ni Vula (which means "House of the Rising Moon" in Fijian and pronounced va-lay thandra nee vula), is a modern and beautifully crafted oceanfront property, built entirely of local indigenous woods with kitchen and baths accented in ceramic tile imported from Italy.
The house consists of 3 hexagon-shaped rooms all with twenty-foot (6 meter) high ceilings with a breathtaking view from our huge lounge deck, giving you an uninterrupted, panoramic view of the ocean as well as the islands inthe distance.
The sitting room is furnished with imported, comfortable furniture and all rooms have ceiling fans. There are two master suites, each with en-suite bathrooms equipped with large, sunken, green slate showers that maintain the natural environment. You can also gaze out on the crystal blue ocean or an endless sea of stars from the outdoor rock shower. Lay back and listen to the tropical wind blowing through the palm trees. In the evening, you'll understand where the house got its name as "the moon rises over the glistening water." Our 400 ft. white sand beach and beautiful blue water provide one of the most stunning backdrops on earth.

The people of Fiji are the friendliest in the world and our caretakers will be happy to arrange anything you need; Fishing, world class diving, breathtaking hiking trips, horseback riding – or anything else you require. A Fijian barbeque, called a lovo and similar to a Hawaiian luau can also be arranged upon request! Bouma waterfalls, just a 30 minute taxi ride from the house, are spectacular and shouldn't be missed.
If your idea of a perfect vacation is Club Med or Waikiki Beach then this house is NOT for you. However,if you enjoy getting away from it all - to a beautiful, tropical, un-crowded and peaceful place - where you can fish, swim, snorkel, dive, kayak, hike through rainforests and waterfalls, or just have a drink and do nothing at all – and all at your own pace - then Taveuni is for you.
